We have set the date for next year’s SOAR event for April 2-4, 2009 We’re still high from this year’s great time with Josh McDowell and Jezreel did an awesome time for Praise & Worship! With the green team grabbing the first ever Eagle Games coveted Eagle Egg trophy, we know the blue team will be gunning for it next year. The OWU team is already at the planning table as we are anticipating another fabulous couple of days to enjoy being part of a truly Christian University.

Pure Excitement: a radical approach to sex, love & dating — featuring Joe White will be on the OWU campus on Sunday, April 6th at 6pm. There will also be great music with LeCrae and Wrent as part of this event. Tickets are $8 in advance & $10 at the door – go to Pure Excitement for more information and to purchase tickets

Our motto for SOAR 08 is definitely the more the merrier! So we want to encourage you to bring lots of your youth this year. We believe that the time here is important for them to experience the opportunity of being on an authentically Christian college campus and all that this means for their futures. So if you bring 5 or more students with you we will waive the $45 fee for you. You will still be housed in a hotel, get to golf with your fellow youth ministers, have dinner with Josh McDowell and most importantly enjoy seeing your youth see what it means to receive a truly Christian education at OWU!

Check our blog for updates, answers to questions and contests leading up to SOAR 08 starting on March 27, 2008. We are looking forward to providing a great opportunity for highschool students to check out an authentically Christian university campus. At the same time enjoy the ministry of a great speaker, Josh McDowell, hear an out-of-this world Galactic tour concert by Eleventyseven and just plain have a good time!
